In recent years, I began focusing on photographing ceremonies at San Francisco City Hall. What started as a natural extension of my work gradually became a direction I chose intentionally. This has been the path that led me here.
Commercial Background
Before focusing on City Hall ceremonies, I spent years working in commercial photography. I photographed restaurants, interiors, products, portraiture, and executive headshots. Those environments shaped how I see and how I work.
In restaurant photography, atmosphere matters. In product photography, every detail communicates identity. In architecture, alignment and proportion are not optional. In portraiture and executive headshots, posture, direction, and small adjustments define presence and confidence.
Transition Into Weddings
That background changed the way I approach weddings.
When I began photographing City Hall ceremonies, I did not switch into a romantic or overly stylized mindset. I brought structure with me. I brought attention to light. I brought awareness of space. I brought discipline in editing and consistency in delivery.
